The Voice 7

I am excited! The Voice is returning on Monday (in America) on NBC with its veterans, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and new-comers, Gwen Stefani (!!!) and Pharrell Williams. This new set of coaches looks fun, but I still miss Shaki on the show. Indeed, it's the ONE and the ONLY. Here are some teaser photos:

International Day of Peace Preparations

I am seriously clueless about what to write in this blog. Actually, I am just writing here because my seat mate is doing the same, and I haven't updated my blog for ages (feels like).

I am very excited for the event tomorrow, the International Day of Peace. Grade 8 will be dancing. I am happy about our performance because I know that we all worked hard for it. I was tasked to actually choreograph a part of the dance (for boys). Idk if they like it because I don't hear comments such as, "Oh Idl that. Let's change that." I only hear Kenny saying, "It's hard. Make it simpler." HAHAHAHA! It is not really hard! It is just that it has a lot of hand movements. And Kenny's really cute in dancing (if he could only see this hahahaha!)

Also, Jr. SCB will be selling tomorrow for the event! Proceeds will be going to our CSO projects. We encourage everyone to buy our products! :) Hotdog-Pineapple-Marshmallow on stick, glow sticks, and canned goods*~ Good luck to JSCB! Hahahaha!

Until the next time! :))

SCB's Team Building and Leadership Training - Part 3

Ang sarap rin ng lunch namin prepared by, of course, Sir Melvin and Sir Pierre. Iba ang Adobo! Hahaha.

And because our transportation hasn't arrived yet, we had an hour of free time. We just played games with Sir Richmond. Pero favorite ko talaga ang tanong ni Sophia sa'kin. Sobrang benta. Are you willing to let go of PBB? Hahaha.

And we went home na. Iba pala matulog ang mga 'to! Putulan ng leeg ang peg. Hahaha! May nakanganga, tingala, nagsasalita, and nagsi-snore~ Ang kulit ni Myra. Sumasayaw sa van. Hahaha! That's why I wasn't able to sleep well. We asked for a stop-over. Ang galing talaga ni Kuya. Nag-stop-over kami sa McDo ATC Branch. Hahaha! But st least we did. :) And the thought of driving for us is something really nice na!

See you soon, Taal! (Is it possible to have separation anxiety (sepanx) with a place you've been in to for 2 days and a night?)

P.S. I love the notebook pasabog. <3 HIHI

SCB's Team Building and Leadership Training - Part 2

Before sleeping, we kept on laughing on Sir Pierre's side comments about what Joel is playing to make us sleep. HAHAHA!

Naku. Sobrang ikli ng tulog ni Sir Pierre ata. Si Sir Melvin ata hindi na natulog kasi nag-la-laptop before I closed my eyes. My roommates (Joel, Zeke, and RC) were already up at 4:30. I heard them speaking na. Then, I rose na around 4:45. They woke up the girls of Junior SCB (Myra, Athena, Sophia) at 5AM. Instead, si Miss Mae nagising nila. Hahaha!

As early as 5:30, nag-pictorial na ang Junior SCB (without Eline because she slept with the higher graders). After, we had our breakfast prepared by Sir Melvin and Sir Pierre. Btw, we should be sharing the same plate (buti hindi utensils) with a groupmate every time we eat. Ka-share ko si Joshiah and wala namang arte. Sanay lang talaga kami sa isa't-isa. Hahaha!

After, we had the final wave of our Team Building. Eto na ata ang pinakamahirap out of all the games we had. Suppa Duppa got to do it first.

After all the games and sharing, it's time to face the reality. We went to our separate organizations (Junior and Senior), and then we planned for our pasabog this school year. Hahaha! We still have a lot to improve as a group, to be honest. Pero I commend my group for staying for 3 hours planning. Hahaha!

And then Ms. Mae announced the winners of the Team Building. Sobrang saya! Our group won!!! Suppa Duppa landed as 2nd while M7 as the third placers.

Before going home, we showcased our talents to be able to get our envelopes that contained messages from the teachers and other student leaders. And eventually, ako ang nauna. Idk what to do. Sir Melvin said, "Kumanta ka na." So I did. I got the envelope after and was so touched to read their messages. Sobrang saya to know that they appreciated you---even your flaws.

SCB's Team Building and Leadership Training - Part I

Hala! Almost forgot to update my blog~ TT_TT Good thing I remembered pa

Hallo! Last Friday and Saturday, we had our #TeamBuilding and #LeadershipTraining at Taal, Batangas. Sobrang ganda ng view sa rest house nila Sir Joseph! Sobrang worth it ang trip (2-3 hours).

Before we depart at school, we knew our groupings. I am with Joshiah (she was the one who informed me), Athena, Simon, Gino, Eline, Rose, and our group leader, Joel Choi!!! I was so happy when we were informed that this is our groupings.

And then we departed! When we arrived, they served chapchae (eto ba 'yun Myra?). Heaven!

After, we started our Team Building! We made a group flag, name, and cheer! And we named our group Pump It Orange! Then, we started the big group games (Bizz Buzz Game, People to People, etc.) and Team Building activities. My favorite game was when we should carry the burden of our groupmates, parang ganon, like our groupmates have to roll on our backs (hard to translate this into words, sorry).

Nang sumapit ang gabi, we had our Solidarity Night. Mej pa-eps ang weather kasi umuulan. Wala tuloy bonfire :( But more than that, the story and the thought of the night ang pinaka-important. We shared our happiest moments in life. This was one of the most inspiring and touching activity I ever did! We got to know each other deeper. No one was shy on sharing their most kept secrets.

We stayed up until 2 AM. Iba si RC! He prepared sandwiches, water, coffee, and Milo for us. Indeed, he is the next papa. Hahaha! We didn't want to sleep because we know that we won't have this night-site with this group (and composition) all over again.
