Last Friday, during the first period, the class officers from Grades 4-8 were excused from their classes to elect this year's Junior Student Coordinating Board. This year's organization adviser is Mr. Melvin Nifas. Here are the elected officers for this school year:
President: Charles Denver M. Opague (Grade 8)
Vice President: Maria Sophia Alipit (Grade 7)
Secretary: Joen Choi (Grade 5)
Treasurer: Joel Andrei Ramirez (Grade 8)
Auditor: Robert Constantine Rivera (Grade 8)
PRO: Destiny Mae Scott (Grade 4)
On the same day, during the club time, the newly-elected officers, together with the class representatives, have appointed the committee heads in order to achieve more goals and to be more productive. Here is the list of the committees and their heads:
Environmental Care: Myra Arce (Grade 8)
Special Events: Ezekiel Blanco (Grade 6)
Students' Welfare: Athena Thea (Grade 8)
Well, I am the President. HAHA! I am very nervous and pressured for this year. But I just hope that we would function well as a group to bring out the best for the ones who believed in our capacities and abilities, our classmates / schoolmates. Thank you so much for believing in me! I won't be wasting your votes, and that's for sure.
